Everyone at Hatch Pediatrics is centered on service to patients and families. We are here to provide your child and your family with the tools and information you need to build life-long healthy habits, right from the start.
We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to children, from babies to teens, based on evidence-based medicine. We're always learning the latest, and pairing that with years of experience, and close partnerships with pediatric sub-specialist, to be sure that we can help, no matter what concerns you have about your child.
We also never forget to have fun while we do our work. Even when our patients are sick, we mirror the cheerfulness that is part of childhood. We each try to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible, and kindness and humor are part of our recipe.
I was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. I've always loved being around kids! When I moved to Minnesota to go to college, I volunteered in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a "Mother Goose" holding premature infants, and then as a Child Family Life volunteer in the pediatric cancer unit. I went to medical school at the University of Minnesota and thought I would choose OB/Gyn, but every time a baby was born, that's where I wanted to be. I completed my pediatric residency training at the University of Minnesota in 2002, and moved to Montana in 2007 to live closer to my family.
When I'm not in the office, my favorite thing in the world is to spend time with my family; my husband, our college-age son and teenage daughter, my mom and dad, brothers, nieces and nephews who all live nearby. We spend our time hiking, swimming, biking, playing cards, taking photos, cooking, crafting, and eating. Nothing matters more to me than my family, and I know the same is true for every parent that brings a child to Hatch Pediatrics. I look forward to partnering with each of you to improve the health and wellbeing of your family.
I'm very excited to be a part of Hatch Pediatrics. For me, this is the perfect atmosphere to care for children of all ages and their families. I believe in a team approach, where the child and family are active participants in their medical care.
I grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota and received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from North Dakota State University. I attended medical school at the University of Minnesota where my love of Pediatrics was fostered. As a young adult, I loved working with children and did a lot of volunteer work at the Children's Hospitals. I completed my Pediatric training at the University of Minnesota as well.
I spent the first 13 years of practice in a multi-specialty physician group in Brainerd, Minnesota. Brainerd is a small resort community in central Minnesota. Being a pediatrician is everything I hoped it would be. I truly enjoy watching my patients and their families grow. I'm continuously amazed at the resiliency of young people when faced with challenges. I love feeling like I'm part of the family and contributing to the successes of young people in the community.
I met and married my wife Holly in medical school and we have two children, Dylan and Ava. We made two road trips to the western United Stated and fell in love with the mountains of Montana and the gracious and friendly people. When it was time for a change, Montana was an easy choice for us.
I love spending time with my family, being active and exploring new adventures. We love to hike, bike, fish and camp. We love to travel and experience new places and people. I love sports of all kinds and true to my Minnesota upbringing, hockey is my favorite.
I'm honored and humbled by the trust my patients and their families place in me and I work diligently everyday to maintain and build that trust. I look forward to working with you as one part of the team, striving to raise healthy and successful young men and women.
Growing up in Missoula, I never expected to be a doctor. After earning a B.A. in International Studies at Vassar College, I spent two years teaching English and HIV prevention in Mozambique with the Peace Corps. It was there that I discovered how delightful it is to work with kids and met the hardworking and caring physicians that ultimately inspired me to pursue medicine.
I attended medical school at the University of Washington and then completed a pediatrics residency at Maine Medical Center. After so many years away, I am excited to return to my family in Montana, explore new trails and landscapes around Bozeman and join the amazing team at Hatch Pediatrics.
My goal is to provide the highest quality of pediatric care with compassion, respect and joy. To me, the value of excellent pediatric care goes beyond treating acute illness. It means listening, celebrating milestones, and partnering with families as they build habits that help children embark on a lifetime of health and wellbeing.
I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse and the Clinical Nurse Manager at Hatch Pediatrics. I have been a pediatric nurse for 15 years and I love it! I like being silly with kids and also being able to quickly draw blood and perform other procedures to make a visit easier for a patient. I'm originally from South Carolina. I have two wonderful kiddos and they keep me quite busy. When I am not working, I'm spending my time cheering on the Gamecocks, watching Madi cheer, or watching JD do some form of tumbling and gymnastics. And we just added two cats to the family!
I'm the business office manager for Hatch Pediatrics. My primary role is to oversee daily financial matters for the practice, but you might frequently see me around the clinic taking care of maintenance tasks or helping out wherever I'm needed.
I'm from Cannon Falls, MN. I'm married to Dr Daniels and have two children, Henry and Nora. I graduated from the University of Minnesota (where I met my wife!). For 20 + years I was employed as an Environmental Engineer for the University of Minnesota, Ford Motor Company and my own business. In 2007, we were fortunate to have an opportunity to move to Bozeman.
In my free time I love spending time with my family playing games, hiking, biking, cooking, traveling and taking care of our menagerie of pets and chickens.
My family and I moved to Bozeman from Billings in 2009 so my husband could attend college. We love living in this area, and love all the different outdoor activities it has to offer. Most weekends we like to explore all the trails that are within Bozeman, or we are outside playing basketball with our 7 year old daughter. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with an amazing staff that is dedicated to their patients.
Hi! I'm the administrative assistant here at Hatch! I'm also a certified health coach, with a focus on working with kids and families. I am passionate about teaching kids and their parents the importance of healthy eating and lifestyle. When I'm not doing that or keeping Hatch stocked with sticky notes, I like to hike, cook and watch Chopped Junior with my husband and 6-year-old son.
I'm the Lead Medical Assistant at Hatch Pediatrics. I'm originally from Bozeman. I grew up in an Army family and have lived in 9 different states and 2 different countries. I currently live in Belgrade with my husband and twin 9-year-old boys. I have worked in pediatrics for 4 years and became a Registered Medical Assistant in 2013. When I'm not at work I enjoy being with my family, quilting and crocheting. I'm overjoyed to be working with the great staff at Hatch Pediatrics to offer exceptional medical care to the great kiddos of the area!
I'm happy to be part of a new adventure with Hatch Pediatrics. I look forward to working with our exceptional team as we provide the best pediatric care possible in the country. As a pediatric medical assistant, I have witnessed the resiliency of our kiddos - ranging from our brave cancer patients, future kindergarteners receiving their immunizations, to our precious newborn babies. Everyday I have the pleasure of interacting and learning from our amazing patients.
As for myself, I came to Bozeman from the Wind River Indian Reservation, Wyoming. After graduating from Montana State University with a baccalaureate degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience, I have worked as a medical assistant for almost two years. My sister, Lisa, and I have the privilege of caring for our nephew, Sisco. When I'm not wrangling him to do his homework or studying to get into medical school, I enjoy beading jewelry, custom to my Native American culture. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Hatch Pediatrics family and look forward to our future together.
